New Post: GREG GUTFELD: You can lie about stolen valor but you can't make veterans forget about it - https://lnkd.in/gRsUZ4hV NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! So, we're finding out that much like a monkey's cage, Tim Walz is full of crap. Because, unlike the Harris campaign, people are actually vetting him. Especially the vet part. And he's about to become unburdened of the biggest highlight on his resumé, meaning his military service with the Army National Guard. As noted by the Washington Free Beacon, when Walz first ran for Congress in 2006, his campaign described him as a "veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom," which typically applies to someone who served on the ground in Afghanistan during the War on Terror. But for him, it was more like Operation Enjoying Freedom, in Italy, not Afghanistan. Here he is in 2007, after he was elected to Congress, talking about his time during that operation.TIM WALZ: I spent 24 years in the National Guard, some of that full-time. I was an artillery man. I deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. My battalion provided base security throughout the European theater from Turkey to England, in the early stages of the war in Afghanistan. And that same battalion is now in Iraq at this time.WHERE DOES TIM WALZ STAND ON ISRAEL?Now it sounds like he was a lot closer to the battlefield than he actually might be. He was, in fact, deployed to a base in Italy. He wasn't taking live fire in Operation Enduring Freedom, it was more like Operation Enduring Pasta. I kid. And in 2009, a local veteran went to his Minnesota office and asked the staffer if it's possible to mistakenly assume that he served in Afghanistan based on his website bio. And the staffer said perhaps.HARRIS CAMPAIGN WALKS BACK WALZ BIO AMID ‘STOLEN VALOR’ CONTROVERSY AS QUESTIONS SWIRLSo the vet suggests, hey, maybe you should change it to say that Walz served in Italy instead. But Walz's office did nothing, though they did offer the vet a case of military-grade tampons. Then there's the two fellow National Guardsmen who said in 2022 that Walz reached the rank of command sergeant major but didn't complete the coursework to maintain that rank before he retired at a lower rank, which the Minnesota National Guard confirmed. Yet, even on his own website, he still calls himself command sergeant major. Apparently, his resume has more padding than Joy Behar's toilet seat. So, did he lie about his rank to fuel his political aspirations, just as he managed to avoid a war? Does it matter? When your job is to lead young men in battle but your desire to dine with Barrack and Michelle matters more, you probably had no business leading anyone to begin with. And yet, the Harris campaign just posted this video of Walz talking about how the weapons he carried in war shouldn't be allowed anywhere but the battlefield.TIM WALZ: I spent 25 years in the

New Post: Trump running mate Vance aims to turn Blue Wall states red - https://lnkd.in/gX-fftz8 BYRON CENTER, Mich. — When it comes to the crucial battlegrounds of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, long known as the Democrats' ‘blue wall’ states, Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance is optimistic they're "going to be the red wall in November.""We’re going to make sure that Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan go red," former President Trump's 2024 running mate emphasized in an exclusive national interview with Fox News Digital on the campaign trail in southwestern Michigan this past week.Democrats reliably won all three working-class states in presidential elections for nearly a quarter-century before Trump narrowly carried them in capturing the White House eight years ago.HARRIS AND TRUMP TRADE FIRE IN BATTLE FOR THE BLUE WALL STATES Sen. And Trump and Vance held their first join-campaign rally after the convention in Grand Rapids, Michigan, just a few miles north of where Vance was interviewed by Fox News on Wednesday.WHAT VANCE SAID IN AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH FOX NEWS DIGITALVance, a first-term populist senator and a leading Trump ally in the Senate, has made stops in all three blue wall states in the past two weeks, and told Fox News that he would be spending plenty of time in the states the rest of the summer and autumn spreading the GOP ticket's working-class message."We’re going to make sure that Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan go red. People are sick of green energy scams that ship our manufacturing jobs to China instead of keeping them right here at home in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. I think we have a great pro-manufacturing, pro-American worker message," he emphasized. Republican presidential nominee former President Trump and GOP vice presidential nominee Sen. J.D. New Post: Post Malone prefers Nashville to LA: ‘It’s always like someone wants something from you’ - https://lnkd.in/gXBzXT8y Post Malone is putting down roots in Music City. The singer has been transitioning from his musical blend of rap and rock to a more country sound, culminating with the release of his first country album, "F-1 Trillion." In doing so, he has been making connections in Nashville, Tennesse, a place he seems to enjoy far more than Los Angeles. In a conversation with Kelleigh Bannon for Apple Music, he discussed the Tennessee capital, saying, "It's really nice meeting people in Nashville that made me feel so welcome and new friends and kind of building new stuff, and for once, I'm not sad anymore. New Post: New FTC decision could ‘inject’ DEI into business practices nationwide, GOP commissioner says - https://lnkd.in/gFp72q9H The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has issued a new decision that one Republican commissioner warns could incentivize diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices in companies that offer price-varied goods and services nationwide. The FTC brought and settled a case Thursday involving an Arizona car dealership the agency accused of having advertised misleading prices for vehicles to attract consumers to the dealerships — the actual prices were thousands of dollars more than advertised. The dealership was also accused of discriminatory financing practices and arranging financing with higher prices for Latino consumers than for non-Latino, White customers.Republican FTC Commissioner Melissa Holyoak sided with the majority in assessing violations of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) in this case. But, she said that the majority also tacked on a "superfluous" violation of Section 5 of the FTC Act, which she said could have a "pernicious" effect on businesses in the future.BIDEN'S RADICAL TRADE COMMISSION WAGES WAR ON AMERICAN AI Lina Khan, Chair of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), arrives to testify before the House Appropriations Subcommittee at the Rayburn House Office Building on May 15, 2024, in Washington, DC. (Photo by Kevin Dietsch/Getty Images)"o matter how well-intended, broad standards of liability under disparate impact theories can backfire — particularly ones that seek to regulate the entire American economy — creating risks of unlawful race-based practices," Holyoak said."The solution to our Nation’s racial problems cannot come from policies grounded in affirmative action or some other conception of equity. Racialism simply cannot be undone by different or more racialism," she added, citing the recent Supreme Court decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard. That case outlawed race-based considerations in higher-ed admissions policies.Holyoak explained that "absent Congressional authorization, the Commission should not attempt to broaden the FTC’s unfairness consumer protection authority into a comprehensive civil rights authority — a new standard of liability that may have unintended and pernicious consequences.""These consequences may be especially pernicious when the Commission assigns individual liability due to statistical disparities. Individuals may, for example, have strong incentive to shield themselves from liability by ‘inject racial considerations,’ practices, or audits into everyday business activities to fend off future unfair discrimination claims," she said.In short, the FTC's decision could effectively compel businesses that engage in sales and price differentiation to make business decisions based on race or other DEI-related factor

New Post: CNN panel rages against Rep. Nancy Mace for pronouncing VP Harris’ name wrong: ‘Normalizing viciousness’ - https://lnkd.in/gje2rUjp Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C. stepped into a hornet's nest of criticism after mispronouncing Vice President Kamala Harris' name during a CNN panel.Appearing on "CNN Newsnight" on Thursday, Mace stressed the wrong syllable when pronouncing Harris' name, prompting outrage from Vanderbilt University professor Michael Eric Dyson and Democratic strategist Keith Boykin, both of whom raised their voices to condemn her."You're normalizing that kind of viciousness, man," Dyson told Mace, who would insist on pronouncing the vice president's name however she wants.LIBERAL WAPO COLUMNIST SAYS HARRIS' PRICE CONTROLS SOUND LIKE ‘COMMUNISM’ Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., received a lecture on CNN about mispronouncing Vice President Harris' first name. (Screenshot/CNN)The eruption of discontent happened during a discussion on Harris' policies, which Mace was attempting to say are the same as President Biden's. In the process, Mace said "Kamala" two different ways, prompting Boykin to respond, "You had it right. You almost got it.""I will say Kamala's name any way that I want to," Mace fired back. Dyson replied, "No," adding, "when you mispronounce her, you misjudge her." Not backing down, the congresswoman responded, "I just did and I'll do it again."Mace's defiance appeared to irk Boykin, who stammered, "You're purposely mispronouncing her name." Meanwhile, Dyson was talking at the same time, stating, "That's a refusal to acknowledge her humanity."The crosstalk died down momentarily as Boykin told Mace, "If I purposely mispronounced your name, that would not be appropriate." Dyson got one last word in about the lawmaker "normalizing" viciousness, but the lawmaker was able to get back to talking about the Biden/Harris policies.CRITICS BLAST HARRIS' GRASP OF INFLATION, ATTACK ON BUSINESS AHEAD OF POLICY SPEECH: 'LUNATIC BEHAVIOR' Democratic presidential candidate U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris waits to speak at a campaign rally at United Auto Workers Local 900 on August 8, 2024 in Wayne, Michigan. (CDC/IMAGE POINT FR/BSIP/Universal Images Group via Getty Images)Unlike in the 2022 epidemic, when mpox was typically spread through close contact (including sex) between gay and bisexual men, patterns in Africa show that children under 15 years old are making up more than 70% of cases and 85% of deaths in Congo.Dr. Boghuma Titanji, an infectious diseases expert at Emory University, told AP that it is "unclear" why children are "disproportionately hit" in Congo right now.She hypothesized that it could be due to children being more susceptible to the virus, overcrowding in social situations — or exposure to parents who have mpox.A new strainA new form of mpox that can kill up to 10% of people and may spread more easily has also been detected in Congo, AP reported, which has scientists concerned about transmission.MPOX OUTBREAK THAT IS RAPIDLY SPREADING THROUGH CONGO MAY BE A NEW FORM OF THE DISEASEThis is because, unlike traditional mpox, which causes lesions on the chest, hands and feet, the new strain causes milder symptoms with lesions on genitalia, according to AP, making it harder to spot.Earlier this month, World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus considered declaring mpox a global emergency given the increasing numbers in Africa. New Post: Dennis Quaid ‘baffled’ by Facebook explanation for throttling promotion of ‘Reagan’ biopic - https://lnkd.in/gimXfUJY "Reagan" star Dennis Quaid responded on Tuesday to Facebook's explanation for why it was throttling efforts to boost marketing of his new biopic about the 40th president, suggesting it didn't hold water. At first, Facebook reportedly wouldn't allow the movie's marketing team to boost a post with Quaid's picture promoting the movie through a paid advertisem*nt. Also, Facebook suspended the movie's official account on at least two occasions over clips it posted of Quaid discussing the movie in media appearances. The marketers said they were told by Facebook that the post "mentions politicians or is about sensitive issues that could influence public opinion, how people vote and may impact the outcome of an election or pending legislation." But, as Quaid pointed out to Fox News' Trace Gallagher, Reagan died in 2004 and certainly isn't eligible for another term in office."It seems to be automated that way for some reason. No one's responsible for that," Quaid said. "This happened several times, actually, and we were suspended two days in a row … The last time I heard, Reagan hasn’t been on the ballot in 40 years and not only that, he’s not even eligible to run because he served two terms."DENNIS QUAID HOPES BY SHARING HIS STORY WITH PAST ADDICTION IT'LL HELP OTHERS: ‘LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AFTERWARDS'A Facebook spokesperson told Newsweek Tuesday, "While there are no restrictions on this page that would prevent the admins from posting, we did identify a handful of ads from this account that were incorrectly rejected. This happened because our automated systems mistakenly determined that content about President Reagan required prior authorization in accordance with our policies for ads about Social Issues, Elections or Politics. This was a mistake and the restriction on the ads has been lifted."Quaid told Gallagher he was confused by Facebook's conduct. "Reagan" star Dennis Quaid has accused Facebook of censoring promotional material about his upcoming biopic. (Showbiz Direct)"I am baffled by it to tell you the truth because it was banned and they haven’t even seen the film," he said. "So it seems like they don’t want other people to see the film either, I guess. But, you know, we will set up a screening for them any time and they can see for themselves. The movie is about America and the '80s and Ronald Reagan, his life. It’s about fighting communism."Quaid also told podcast giant Joe Rogan this week that he’s all too aware of social media, in his view, trying to cancel conservative viewpoints.During the latest episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," the actor talked to the podcast host about how Facebook has appeared to have been censoring content about his upcoming movie about iconic Republican President Ronal
